IRLAM REACHES 9 YEARS AND COUNTING WITHOUT A LOST WORK-DAY ACCIDENT
Multisol’s depot in Irlam, Manchester celebrated a significant Health & Safety landmark on 18th April, achieving an impressive nine-year run without a single lost work-day accident (LWDA).
The milestone accomplishment is remarkable for a location that includes advanced manufacturing, blending, packaging, storage facilities and laboratory.
Darren Copson, the site manager at Irlam said, “Thanks for everyone’s support to help us achieve this safe end to the 9-year challenge. Congratulations and thanks must go to all the team at Irlam, both in the offices and out on the plant We are very proud of this achievement.”
Copson added “This achievement reflects the commitment of all members of the team for engaging with the safety ideals and becoming involved with the improvements on site, both behavioural and practical. Our challenge now is to maintain the focus on safety, build on where we are, be relentless in our pursuit of continuous safety improvements on site and now work towards our MAJOR milestone of 10 YEARS.”
