New post-Brexit deal agreed

As a business, Multisol is delighted that a post-Brexit agreement on trade and other issues was agreed on the 24th December 2020 between the UK and the EU. It avoids the potential disruption of a no-deal Brexit in the middle of the Covid pandemic, and marks a new era in our trading relationship with Europe and Northern Ireland. Importantly, there will be no taxes on goods (tariffs) or limits on the amount that can be traded (quotas) between the UK and the EU.

And after our first week operating to the new agreement and the associated export and import procedures, so far so good in terms of the movement of goods. Our preparations and customs agents, along with the additional resource we have in place as a business over the past 3 years are working effectively thus far. Over the coming weeks, as we anticipate movements of goods to increase, we will continue to work closely with our suppliers, our customers and, our transport and logistics partners. We ask all of our customers to please continue to review your stock holding volumes and share your forecasts with your Multisol Account Manager. Security of supply remains our primary concern and we will continue to review our supply chain.

If we are able to assist you further please do contact your local Account Manager or alternatively Contact Us via our website, where we would be happy to help.
